I am so glad my flight from Germany to Washington, DC is over without any incidents. I hate long flights but had no other choice like taking a cruise over the Atlantic Ocean. The plane seats are so small. I can't believe they expect people to sit on those seats for hours and not be grumpy. I am just happy it is over.

I will be living with an American family in Vienna (Virginia, USA) this year and be their au pair (exciting!!!). I can't wait to experience America. It is my first visit and honestly I didn't expect my first visit to be this long. It is so far from the rest of the world that I thought best thing would be to stay as long as I could. I am not a big fan of long flights and planes.
